Key Responsibilities
- Follow up and ensure timely tax payments and return filling.
- Follow up on all SVAT invoices and Credit Vouchers.
- Maintain proper and detailed records relating to Tax computations.
- Assist in developing tax strategies to optimize the organization’s tax position and minimize liabilities.
- Represent the company at the IRD in all discussions, interviews, and reviews.
- Review and validate monthly tax computations by the SBU’s for monthly accounting including deferred tax.
- Prepare periodic tax reports and presentations for management, highlighting key tax issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Work closely with outside tax consultants in all related matters.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on tax-related matters to enhance overall compliance awareness.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Finance and/or full/Part professional qualification in finance.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in tax preparation, compliance preferably in a corporate or public accounting firm setting.
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
